Join us for a special screening of From Soil to Soul: Food Justice in LA — a powerful short film that delves into the heart of food justice and community-led food sovereignty initiatives in Los Angeles.
This film shines a light on the inspiring stories of BIPOC youth and farmers, thought leaders, regenerative practitioners, and food activists in Los Angeles who are reclaiming their connection to the land and building a future rooted in justice and equity.
After the screening, join our panel discussion with some of the incredible individuals featured in the film, including Dr. Sherridan Ross, founder of Compton Community Garden, Matthew Teutimez, tribal biologist of the Kizh Gabrieleño tribe, Talia Dotson, regenerative designer and CEO at Akoben & Co, and more. They will share their insights on the vital work being done to advance food justice and sovereignty, and how we can all play a part in this transformative movement.
